Bench L’Assurance

« Trois Histoires de Retour » is a set of benches made from the wood
made from the wood of the Hôtel de Breteuil,
acquired by the Archives nationales in 1862.
Following a project to renovate the building’s attic space, the Archives nationales asked Atelier Musset to restore these timbers to their original position as furniture.

Assertive and assumed, this is quite simply a pronounced
pronounced and characterful return, leaving no doubt
about its materiality and form
