Console Life

With the aim of preserving the hand-carved moldings of these Versailles-style dormer windows, the challenge was above all to find a logical purpose for the small pieces of wood, which likely came from the sides of the dormers.

Having kept them in the workshop for four years, I wanted to incorporate them into a tree-like structure without really finding an overarching function that would give them all meaning at once.
